💠 The Challenge Winner

Last Monday, the OG Pals announced a new challenge; for Pals to tell them one difference or addition they would make to the Pal Universe™! The OGs decided that there would be three winners based on how efficient they thought the suggestion was. First place would earn a bronze coin, as well as a sticker or coloring page made by Zeppelin. Second place would earn a silver coin, and third, one gold coin. Today the results were announced! Here’s who won…
Cripsy Peach, or Pal #9, won first place. Her suggestion was to make Pal Holidays! (The OG Pals are now creating them.)
Tricky T, or Pal #11, got second. He wanted to create a flag for the Pal Universe™. (The OGs are also beginning to work on this.)
Finally, Mickey D’s, or Pal #18, obtained third. He decided that an interesting addition or representation of the Universe™ could be Pal Merch! (The OGs are starting to sketch out ideas.)
Keep your eyes and ears open to listen for the OG Pals’ next challenge, which can result in you gaining even bigger prizes!

💠 Winter’s Decision

This year, as opposed to having light snow starting to fall in December, winter has made a late arrival. A thin layer of snow has finally arrived… in the last month of the season?! To embrace this weather, join in the Olympic Games, taking place on the snowy hill beside the crosswalk! The OGs will announce the games. You will be split up into teams. You may play any fictional character of your choice for added fun. If your team wins, you could get big prizes! Keep in mind that the Spring Olympics start on March 22nd, so hurry before the snow melts!

💠 Cheers!

💠 The Pal Currency

Good news, Pals! The Pal currency has finally come into existence… you can find out how to earn them, spend them, and keep them by clicking on the link below. Remember that being Pal of the Week can earn you at least one gold coin (worth $1 CAD), so be sure to commit your good deeds and/or disrespect towards Fiendlings!

💠 An Unbreakable Alliance

Manhunt, known as a popular game to everyone, usually takes place every recess break, during which all Pals have made an alliance. Pals #1, #2, and #12 have decided that, instead of participating in the thrilling game, they will aid the ones escaping from the tagged “hunters”. By blocking entrances that the “its” decide to take and protecting them as best as they can from tagging Pals playing the game (non-Pals might be spared from protection), these three Pals have saved multiple others and have helped them win. So, how do you recognize that a Pal is not playing the game and restraining or chasing the “its” to protect you? Well, it’s simple. Doing the Diamond Salute can show you from afar that they are willing to protect you. Here is an image of the Diamond Salute.

The Diamond Salute that lets Pals know who plans on allying with them during Manhunt or any other group game.

💠 Cheers!

That’s it for this edition of the Pal Magazine. Stay tuned for more, and subscribe to our newsletter so you can receive word when new info comes out about the Pal Universe™! Stay safe, Pals, and work hard to earn your money!

The New Pal Anthem

A vote today arose some questions and arguments.

The current Pal Universe™ Anthem, to the tune of Lucid Dreams by JuiceWRLD, goes:
Welcome to the Pal Universe™
Can’t take back your Pal membership
We’re a team of unified Pals
And fighting for justice
So come join the Pal Universe™

Since Lucid Dreams is slightly out-of-date to the current popular selection of music, a vote as to which song would be the new tune of the anthem was held. The four choices possible were:

Thank u, Next
Ariana Grande
7 Rings
Ariana Grande
Keep it as Lucid Dreams
JuiceWRLD
Other
(not Hello World or Muffin Time)

However, this caused some chaos.

After Pal #11, Tricky T, suggested the Caillou theme song, suddenly two more Pals agreed. They were Pals with, well, strong opinions. One of them kept suggesting Caillou, and the other even wrote up the lyrics to the tune of the Caillou theme song.

There are issues with the Caillou theme song.

First of all, the anthem represents the Universe™ and the Pals in it, meaning if the anthem was to be the Caillou theme song tune, it would give others the impression that Pals are bratty, stupid, annoying, and bald.

Secondly, Caillou is a Fiendling of the Pal Universe™, and Fiendlings cannot be tolerated in any way. Therefore, the Caillou theme song is no longer an option. There will be a re-vote on either 7 Rings or Thank u, Next since those two songs received the most votes.

Thank you.

Storytime Challenge + The Winner of the Colonel-General Test

CHALLENGE 2

Ahh, the first challenge was fun! Changing your profile picture to something weird? All the Pals enjoyed it!

That wasn’t a contest, though. This second challenge is. The winner gains 2 points if they have no strikes. If they have strikes, they will reset and the Pal will no longer have any strikes.

Here’s how the contest works.

Submit a story you made up about Mylo Voskanik, a former god who was also an immature traitor. There’s a catch, though– Mylo must die in the story at some point. The OG Pals Zeppelin and Mope.io will read your submission and they’ll decide who wins! Marks are based off of:

💠 How well the story flows
💠 Choice of wording
💠 The storyline itself
💠 Mylo’s death scene and how other characters react

Good luck, Pals!

(And side note: Congrats to Pal#8 (Idiot) or Melina for winning the Colonel-General Test! It was definitely a tough choice, but you came out on top!)

Anyways, hope your story brainstorming goes well. The challenge ends on Friday, January 18th!

The Four-Way Colonel-General Test

As there are four Pals in the Elite Squadron (which can’t be allowed; there can only be three), there is definitely going to be a grand four-way test held. Each current Elite Squadron member must take their own test consisting of ten questions– eight about the Universe™ and what they’d like to do as Colonel-General, and the other two, bonus questions to test their general knowledge. It’s possible one of you Elites are currently looking at the blog to see how you can study for the test…

There are many ways you can do this. The OG Pals will not give you direct practice questions or anything of the sort. Instead, you will have to gather the study material yourself. Because you won’t know what will be on the test until the moment you have the test, the OG Pals recommend reading through every edition of the Pal Magazine™ and reading it carefully. You never know– one of the things mentioned in an edition could count for a lot of marks on the test!

Here are some other ways you can study for the test.

💠 Read about the gods on the blog.

💠 Look at their every traits and memorize them well.

💠 Stay up-to-date by reading the conversations spoken by the Pals in the Hangouts group chat.

💠 Ask the OG Pals with kindness and respect (and a salute!) if you can borrow the Pal Handbook to look at. This may be a huge tool.

💠 Again, read the Magazine™. It will also have great importance.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the OG Pals.

Well, with that being said… good luck, Elites! You have the seventh and eighth of January to prepare for the test. Be ready on the ninth with your Magazine™ memorized, Handbook studied, and memories recalled!
